IS JESUS CHRIST GOD OR THE SON OF GOD?
Words matter.
This proves it.
One verse in the Bible is the only verse with clear instruction for how to be born again to have eternal life.
That verse is Romans 10:9 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."
This is the ONLY requirement for eternal salvation.
Unfortunately, most churches couldn't even put their fingers on this verse in the Bible.
The same could be said for major denominations that don't even teach this verse.
Is Jesus Christ God or the son of God?
If people just read this fundamental verse, this should give them the Bible's position.
God and His son are separate entities.
There are hundreds of references in the New Testament exactly like this.
Christianity is in deep trouble when words in the Bible don't matter but religious teachings super cede the Bible.
Our eternal rewards are won by rightly dividing the word of truth, and yet, many Christians are illiterate to many of the basic truths from the Bible.
This would include the most fundament question, "Who is God?" Some pray to Jesus.
I would suggest they check their protocol to see the pattern in the New Testament for WHO TO PRAY TO.
Throughout the entire New Testament, for all with eyes to see, God the Heavenly Father, and His son are separate entities.
This isn't just speculation.
The distinction between the Father God and His son is clear for all who simply read the Bible.
Let's try another verse.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son that whosever believeth in him shall not perish but have everlasting life.
This, and much more, is in the Bible, yet, most of Christianity isn't aligned.
Christians are not reading their Bibles to find the truth.
Leaders are not teaching it.
The very best message of the Bible is the relationship the Father had with the son.
All of life's most telling experiences happened here.
This message gets lost by so much "off the rail" Christian teaching.
If you don't like what the Bible says, complain to management that it doesn't align with your church teaching.
The Evangelist Billy Graham knew to always pray to the Heavenly Father, and he was a Baptist.
In the last two decades the momentum to pray to Jesus rather than to the Heavenly Father has reached fever pitch to the demise of the relationship.
The Father has been replaced by a new religion outside of scriptural truth.
Are the religion gods of misdirection taking over Christianity?
The establishment religions posing a real threat to Christian practice need to be called out.
God says in Exodus 20:3 "You shall have no other gods before me. "
This is the first of the Ten Commandments given by God to the Israelites in the Bible.
That's where we are.
Isn't it time to return to the Bible?
I would suggest everyone pick up a King James Bible published in 1611.
