Identify With The Human Jesus

It would not be possible to write this without shedding a tear.
There is no topic on earth more moving.
There are two versions of this, the long version, and the short version.

This is the long version.
John 21:25 And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.

Every moment of his life was filled with love, purpose, and mission.

This is the short version.

Our identity with him as a human brings it up close and personal.

The power is found by putting ourselves in his shoes.

May we see what he saw, and may we feel what he felt.

Jesus was tempted in all ways like as we are, yet without sin.

Hebrews 4:15 15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

He could have sinned, but he didn't.

He could have disobeyed, but he didn't.

He could have done his will rather than the Father's will, but he didn't.

He could have taken the easy way out, but he didn't.

Three times, he went to the Father and prayed.

Matthew 26:39 39 And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.

The decision was excruciating.

He subjected himself to death by crucifixion. He could have passed on the mission and achievement, but he didn't.

He took all he had like hot iron to weld his will to always do the will of the Father.

He paid the price for all of our sins and shortcoming, every refusal, every infraction, and every dumb thing we do, and we've done some real dumb ones. Jesus paid it all by his life and death.

He paid for it all, and now he has removed our sins as far as the east is from the west.

We have even the righteousness of God in him.

Romans 3:22 22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

He took each one of us from nothing to something and made us children of the eternal God with all power.

Romans 8:17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

With all he has done for each of us as our perfect Lord and Savior, there is no way we can repay him for all he did, but it can be certainly fun to try.

Jesus Christ is the leader of the human races and the hallmark of all human progress.

Praise God and His only begotten son.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
