For good reason, it has been said that high school years are often the most difficult of all.

Why is that?

Everyone of course wants to be loved and accepted.  - for just who we are.

The social life of the high-schooler is right in the middle of figuring that out and it is NOT easy - without right answers.

Unfortunately, there are many cultures in high school - many cultures different from others.

This makes what we want more challenging.

Gym class could be a good example.

Only a small number of students are top athletes.

A smaller number excel in athletics while most do not.

If you're looking for acceptance there, good luck if you're not a sports star.

The same is true with every way we are measured in high school - even in grades.

Thankfully, there's a silver lining and a great option for all.

There are many different fields of play.

We get to choose which field we like best.

The best of all is not basketball, football, or socker.

Some win and some lose.

The best of all is the game we win. This is the one we share with others who share our mission.

 

Some say, the greatest is love. These are the wise ones.

Play your game on a love team where all working together make all things better.

This could be any favorite group we find.

It could also be the local Young Lions Team.
